RULES / PRINCIPLES OF CIVILIZATION
The Brindisi Youth Hostel is a welcoming structure towards its guests, flexible to the needs of all tourists
of Brindisi, ready to satisfy the most varied requests of all the people who come to visit us.
All guests of the facility are required to read the “Principles of Civility” which they are asked to strictly adhere to during the stay in the hostel.
1) To each his own
Upon arrival, go to the reception for check-in, handing over your identification document which will be returned later. Each guest is assigned a room and a bed including a locker, chair and coat hanger. Occupation is not permitted free equipment (beds, lockers, chairs and coat hangers)
2) Like at other people’s homes
During your stay we want you to feel comfortable remembering that there are numerous common spaces to enjoy throughout the day from 7.00 in the morning to 22.00 in the evening and we invite you from now on to collaborate in respecting the order and cleanliness of everything the Hostel.
3) Better than before
Upon departure, remember to return any linen delivered upon arrival and to leave the room by 11.00 am and the bed assigned in the same conditions in which you found it.
4) Everything in its time
The Youth Hostel is open and accessible every day from 07:00 to 23:00. From 10.00 pm to 7.00 am it is mandatory to respect the silence and sleep of all guests. After 11.00 pm the availability of staff is guaranteed employee via the telephone number 0831.096232.

The structure’s rates, established with a specific provision by the managing body, are set as follows:

Payment for the stay must be e carried out in advance or upon arrival at the facility in the time slot between 7:00 and 23:00.
The receipt can be collected at the time of payment.
7) Late Check out
If you are not sure if you can leave your bed/room by 11.00, ask if it is possible to have a late check out (€5). If possible, we will be happy to have you with us until 2.00 pm

8) The earlier you book, the better you stay
In the absence of a reservation, the duration of the stay will be arranged by the staff in relation to availability and/or reservations already accepted.
9) For everyone’s safety:
They cannot be accommodated at the Hostel:
I. Guests without a valid identity document;
II. People in conditions of less than perfect sobriety and cleanliness.
III. Minors under 18 years of age without an authorization signed and signed by their parents with the relevant identity document attached
10) Responsibilities of the Staff
The staff in charge has the right to interrupt the stay if they deem it necessary, without prejudice to any further information measure to protect public safety/safety.
11) Without exceptions
It is not permitted to welcome and host unregistered people in the rooms.
12) Responsible use and consumption
The use of the furnishings, equipment and any other furnishings made available to the guests is entrusted to the guests themselves. they benefit. It is recommended to use water and electricity carefully and avoid waste.
13) Friendliness
In all areas of the Hostel (internal and external), guests are required to behave in a manner appropriate to community life, inspired by respect for things and people and good manners.
14) Few prohibitions:
I. Carry out political and confessional propaganda;
II. smoking and eating in the rooms and corridors;
III. make improper use of wardrobes, beds and equipment;
IV. use personal sheets or sleeping bags for hygiene and safety reasons;
V. do camping or other types of unauthorized activities in outdoor spaces;
VI. dig or tamper with the soil and plants in outdoor spaces;
VII. light fires in outdoor spaces;
VIII. damage vegetation; IX. wash cars or other personal vehicles
15) Whoever breaks it pays and the pieces belong to him
Any damage caused by guests must be compensated; therefore any voluntary damage to the structures constitutes a crime punishable with the sanctions provided for by the relevant regulatory provisions.
16) For those with children
Adults are responsible for the behavior of minors who disturb the peace, safety and hygiene of other guests.
17) We too sometimes make mistakes, perhaps.
Any complaints or disservices must be reported to the relevant staff and/or the manager.
18) Everyone is responsible for themselves
The hostel is not responsible for things left unattended inside or outside the structure, nor for accidents or injuries caused by the guest’s actions or fault. It is advisable to leave valuables for safekeeping by the reception staff who will put them away safe the delivered goods. The hostel is not responsible for theft of things left in the rooms, bathrooms or inside its own lockers available.
19) Ultimately
Behavior that does not comply with the Regulations or is contrary to the rules of civil life may constitute grounds for expulsion from the Hostel, without prejudice to any civil and/or criminal actions.
